Known as "Time Reversing Injection", Profhilo is the latest multi-purpose injectable treatment for skin rejuvenation, hydration and collagen stimulation.
Its main selling point? Profhilo delivers FIVE times more Hyaluronic Acid (HA) than Skinboosters into the layers of the skin.
HA is the key ingredient that keeps skin well glowing and well hydrated, giving it the much sought after "Korean glass skin" appearance.
How does Profhilo work?
As a stabilised product Profhilo lasts in the skin around 28 days. During this time the stimulation of 4 different types
ofcollagen and elastin takes place by slow release of HA.
The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore we cannot say that Profhilo is a skin booster as it also hasa significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.

Profhilo is not a dermal filler or biorevitaliser - Profhilo has opened up a new medical category - bioremodeling.
Thermal cross-linking changes the character and behavior of the HA resulting in the formation of co-operative hybrid complexes which modulate the tissues. This is also the explanation for the different biological behavior with respect to H-HA and L-HA alone. One of the main advantages is longevity. Hybrid cooperative complexes have proven to be very stable with natural hyaluronidase (BTH) digestion when compared to H-HA, widely used in biorevitalisation products, or L-HA alone resulting in the long-lasting release and the dual action of the two HA components. This dual action is ideal for remodeling skin laxity.
Since 2015, it has gained popularity in Europe as a quick and relatively painless treatment with minimal downtime because only FIVE injection points are required for each half of the face!
