Horse Chestnut Extract is from dry seed of Aesculus Hippocastanum. Aescin/Escin is active ingredient in Aesculus Hippocastanum Seed Extract. Aescin is a mixture of more than 30 kinds of saponins extracted from the seeds of Aesculus Hippocastanum , belonging to pentacyclic triterpene saponins. The main existing forms are α- Aescin and β- Aescin. Aescin is anti-inflammatory, anti exudative, anti brain edema, anti-tumor and other effects.
