Product Name Rutin, also known as rutin and vitamin P, has the formula C27H30O16. It is a natural flavonoid glycoside, belonging to the flavonol ligands widely existing in plants, two of which are glucose and rhamnose-ligands. The appearance is light yellow or light green crystalline powder. Soluble in pyridine, formyl and lye, slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone and ethyl acetate, almost insoluble in chloroform, ether, benzene, carbon disulfide and petroleum ether. It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-allergic and anti-viral effects.
