Function:
Dextromethorphan can inhibit the medullary cough center and produce antitussive effect. The antitussive effect is significant, and the same or slightly stronger than the same dose of cod, but no analgesic effect. Long-term use has no addiction and tolerance. The therapeutic dose does not inhibit respiration and acts quickly and safely.
Application:
Dextromethorphan can be used to treat dry cough or irritating dry cough caused by various causes such as acute nasopharyngitis (cold), upper respiratory tract infection, acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, pleurisy, myocarditis, tumor, etc.
