Colorless or white transparent flaky brittle crystals, or crystalline powders and lumps. Soluble in ethanol, chloroform, gasoline, almost insoluble in water. It has a strong pine, camphor and mint scent. It can be sublimated when heated, and it can slowly volatilize at room temperature with a burning sensation. The melting point is 208 °C, and the boiling point is 212 °c.
