Dental AG-43 Silver Alloy Amalgam Capsules USAGE
This product is applied for filling of dental caries.

APPLICATION
1) Mixing proportion (in weight)
*In bottle: Amalgam Alloy: M(ercury)=0.6: 0.7~0.8(20% of m(ercury) to be
extracted during filling)
*In capsules: Proper specification of capsules subject to the size of dental caries
to be filled.
2) Mixing methods:
In bottle
*Mechanical :Automatic vessel vibration: mixing time: 40-60s.( 600mg powder
to 800mg m(ercury))
*Glass mortar: Handing the mortar with load of 2~3kg at the speed of
2~3vibrates/s, lasting for 60~70 seconds.
In capsules
*Press the cap of capsules down to the end to make the separation membrane set
off, so the m(ercury) and silver alloy powder can be totally mixed.
*Fix the pressed capsules on the holder of amalgamator, setting the appropriate
frequency and time. (When the vibration frequency sets at 4000~4600
times/min., its corresponding mixing time lasts 16-45s;) then mix the capsules.
Recommended amalgamators: YJT-2(SDMF); GK(ANTAI); YG2020(XINYA),
etc.
*Pour the amalgam onto a chammy-like white muslin right after mixing, wrap
and slightly extrude certain amount of m(ercury) before filling.
*15 minutes after filling, it's time to carve the shape.
*24 hours after filling, it's time to polish till mirror shining.

PRECAUTIONS
* If moisture is introduced into the amalgam before it has set, properties such as
strength and corrosion resistance may be affected adversely. Since there contains
zinc, such contamination may result in an excessive expansion (delayed
expansion). Whenever it is possible, use a dry field.
* The most suitable manipulating environment for clinical use : Room
tempereture:23±2ºC; relative humidity≤60%.
* During clinical filling, regular relining manipulation is referred.
* The amalgam made form this product may not be adopted as retro-filling.
* Due to the big discrepancies among the vibrating frequency of amalgamators with
various model as well as the hand feel demand of dentists varying from each other,the mixing time can be adjusted subject to specific conditions.
* M(ercury) presents a health hazard of incorrectly handled. Spillages of m(ercury)
should be removed immediately, including from places which are difficult to
access. Use a plastic syringe to draw it up. Smaller quantities can be covered by
sulfur powder and removed. Avoid inhalation of the vapour.
* Put the used capsules and scraped amalgam specific place, dispose in accordance
with national regulations.
