Application Mode

 

This flotation deinking tank is a laboratory instrument designed to remove and filter impurities from slurry suspensions, especially printing ink, fillers, coating particles, and adhesives. Used to evaluate the flotation effect of high dust content pulp, paper machine, and paperboard machine filtered suspensions.

 
Working Principle

 

Flotation deinking is the process of using bubbles and appropriate chemical additives to remove ink particles and hydrophobic granular substances similar to stickies from waste pulp.
The rotary shaft in the base of the flotation deinking tank rotates, driving the rotor blades installed in the tank to generate negative pressure when stirred, causing surrounding air to be brought into the slurry through the hollow rotary shaft. The added air flow rate is measured by an air flow meter and adjusted using a regulating valve. The stirring of the rotor blades causes the slurry to mix with the air to produce fine bubbles.
Bubbles will absorb ink particles and other hydrophobic impurities, and bubbles full of impurities will float to the slurry surface to form a foam layer; Scrape the foam into the central funnel through the scraper and discharge it from the discharge pipe. Because of the total liquid loss caused by foam overflow and sampling test, clean water or recycled water is required to compensate for the loss of pulp water suspended solids when completing continuous experiments.
