Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt form of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is an acidic mucopolysaccharide, which is isolated from the vitreous of bovine eyes first. Sodium hyaluronate is divided into food grade, cosmetic grade and pharmaceutical grade. Hyaluronic acid is mainly fermented with glucose as carbon source, Streptococcus, Lactococcus, etc. and processed by biological fermentation. Mycelium and impurities are removed by filtration, and then hyaluronic acid is obtained by alcohol precipitation. Sodium hyaluronate can be produced by fermentation. Different molecular weights can be produced, and the smaller the molecular weight, the better the absorption.
