Application field:
It can be applied to all uses of B-2 alloy, that is, it has a wide range of applications in the fields of chemistry, petrochemical, energy manufacturing and pollution control, especially in H2SO4, HCl, H3PO4, CH3COOH and other industries with strict welding requirements.

The alloy is NI-MO corrosion-resistant alloy, which is also a low-carbon alloy. To solve the technical problems caused by insufficient stability, while retaining the corrosion resistance characteristics of B2, it solves the problems of welding cracks and fracture during processing. Hastelloy B3 has better corrosion resistance than B2. It has good corrosion resistance at any temperature and concentration of HCl, and also has good corrosion resistance to H2SO4, CH3COOH, formic acid, H3PO4, and other non oxidizing media. Moreover, due to the adjustment of its chemical composition, its thermal stability has been significantly improved compared with B2, and it has high resistance to spot corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, knife corrosion, and corrosion in the Heat-affected zone of welding. The tendency to form harmful phases between metals is minimal, making it more resilient than B-2 during heating and subsequent various forms of thermal cycling.
