Tetrachloroethylene has a wide range of applications, mainly used as an organic solvent, dry cleaning agent, metal degreasing solvent, and also as an anthelmintic agent. About 80% of tetrachloroethylene is used as a dry cleaning agent, which can be used to wash all natural and synthetic fabrics. After washing, it feels comfortable, soft, and shiny, without any odor, fading, deformation, damage to clothing and organic glass buttons. In addition, tetrachloroethylene can also be used as an intermediate for fatty acid extractants and refrigerants F-113. It can also be used for cleaning circuit boards.
