Inner barrier film is a kind of special silage film, mainly used for wrapping forage replaces bale net inside the silage wrap film. It could also shape the bales like the bale net.
Inner barrier film is an innovative multi-layer pre-orientated film that replaces traditional net wrap in round silage bales. Specifically created for the next generation of baling machines that can apply film instead of net.
Being a film, it provides an additional air barrier whilst helping to retain a better bale shape by exerting a tighter grip around the bale circumference. Plus, it reduces wastage of valuable silage wrap, as, unlike net wrap, no baled fodder can become enmeshed in it.
Its production from the same base material as silage film means users don't need to separate the barrier film from silage film when removing. Instead, both it and the accompanying silage film could be recycled together thereby saving valuable time and labour costs.
Inner barrier film wrapped bales benefit from an enhanced ensiling process resulting in better crop conservation thanks to the increased oxygen barrier afforded by the extra film layers around the bale circumference.
