General information

The system is especially designed for testing GIS in the factory and on-site test, and for testing all GIS switchgears and GIS components such as insulators, insulating tension pole, GIS PT etc. It also can test transformers, power cables.
As its good encapsulation, it can perform PD test in normal environment. When it tests partial discharge, the PD level is less than 3pc, and it can be added a HV bushing to perform the withstand voltage test at the same time.

Function of the testing system
1.The encapsulated test transformer is a conventional transformer and step-up the voltage coming from the voltage regulator. The compensating reactor connect with the HV transformer primary winding to compensate the capacitive current. (The HV transformer LV side has an independent compensating winding.)
2.For the on-site testing system, the voltage regulator, compensating reactor, Isolating transformer and control system are integrated into a cabinet. It gives a most compact equipment with a minimum number of components to be transported and connected for testing.
3.Using HV disconnecting switch to disconnect all types of test object connector to achieve widely use.
4.Three-phase change-over switch to test three phase in box system.
5.Universal adjustable platform to make HV transformer flange test object more conventional.
