Description

DESCRIPTION
Flexibond 8911 is a one component reactive Polyurethane based Hotmelt adhesive for flat lamination of PVC/PET/leather/Aluminum foils with wood plastic board, foaming board, multi-layer wood board, MDF panel, etc. It`s main raw material is 100% solid content Isocyanate-terminated polyurethane prepolymer. It reacts with the moisture or active hydrogen substance in the air or the subjects to form a partially cross-linked network structure, which makes excellent in adhesive strength, chemical resistance, heat resistance, water resistance and other properties better than general hot melt adhesives.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Operation:
1.Must use on special reactive (PUR) hot-melt adhesive equipment, operation methods are roller coating, blade coating, etc.
2.Application requirements:
Recommended pressing temperature: 130±5ºC
Recommended hose temperature: 125±5ºC
Recommended glue gun temperature: 125±5ºC
Recommended application roller temperature: 110±10ºC
Recommended roller control temperature: 140±10ºC
Recommended melting temperature: 130ºC±5 (Maximum 140 ºC )
Application Amount:
Depend on substrate and application (Consult Comens Technical Dept.)
Recommended application consumption: 40g~70g/m², depending on the thickness of PVC foil, roughness of substrates. Wood plastic panels: 40~60g, foaming board: 45~55g, MDF/multi-layer wood board: 55~65g.
Requirements for Foil: Flat and uniform thickness, dyne value above 32, film thickness no more than 0.35mm
Cleaning: Uncured glue can be cleaned with acetone. After the application is finished, must clean the machine with matching detergent
Curing Conditions: Curing in an environment of 15-35ºC, RH 50-80%. Should place in constant room if temperature lower than 15ºC in winter. The curing speed depends on the temperature and humidity environment, the moisture content of the substrate, the permeability of the substrate, etc
