Introduction:
 

National cable industry to develop low-smoke halogen free cable and materials, such products are required to measure the smoke density of cable;The main principle of smoke density measurement is that in a specific space, cables or materials produce smoke under specific combustion or radiation conditions, and the light beam will decay after passing through the smoke. The light transmittance of the beam is measured and the specific light density and smoke density are calculated.

The wire and cable smoke density tester conforms to GB/T17651.1~2-1998,IEC 61034-1~2:1997 "smoke density test of cables and optical cables burning under certain conditions", which is a test device for measuring the transmittance of smoke released by all insulated metallic conductor cables or optical cables used to transmit electrical energy or signals when burned horizontally under certain conditions.

Features:

1. The box body is composed of a cubic shell with length, width and height of 3000mm±30mm. The internal material of the box body is SUS 304 stainless steel, filled with calcium silicate fireproof material, and the external material is iron, treated with plastic spray

2. All internal fixtures are made of stainless steel;Aesthetic corrosion resistance

3. The total air vent area is 50cm2±10cm2, which is always open during the test;Baffle height is 1000mm

4. Equipped with wire and cable test stand and weight as per standard requirements

5. The door of the test box is equipped with glass observation Windows on opposite sides, and is installed with sealed and transparent Windows, which can transmit light from the horizontal optical measurement system.Height 2150mm±100mm above ground

6. The light source of the photocell is placed at the center of each window of the two walls, without physical contact

7. Specially designed wind duct and custom calibration device to assist the measurement of wind speed and wind pipes and related institutions for calibrating the smoke density test system of fan air volume
