1. HENGDA-M5133 is a bifunctional organosilane possessing reactive chloro and hydrolyzable inorganic methoxy silyl groups.
2. The dual nature of its reactivity allows HENGDA-M5133 to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, and elastomers), thus functioning as an adhesion promoter and a surface modifier. HENGDA-M5133 is a clear, colorless liquid.

Applications:

1. As a rubber processing aid, it is used to couple inorganic fillers in various halogenated rubbers, such as Chloroprene rubber, chlorobutyl rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, and other halogenated rubber, to improve various physical and mechanical properties.
2. Synthesis of organosilicon compounds with quaternary ammonium cations, used as an anti-mold and deodorant finishing agent, it has certain surface activity and has special bactericidal, deodorant, and antistatic effects.

Reactivity:

1. In the presence of water, the methoxy groups of HENGDA-M5133 hydrolyzes form reactive silanol groups which can bond to a variety of inorganic substrates.
2. Examples of suitable inorganic substrates are glass, glass fibers, glass wool, mineral wool, silicic acid, quartz, sand, cristobalite, wollastonite and mica as well as aluminum hydroxide, kaolin, talc, other silicate fillers, metal oxides and metals.
3. HENGDA-M5133 may be used with such polymers as epoxy, phenolic, furan and melamine resins, polyurethanes, PA, PBT, PC, EVA, modified PP, PVB, PVAC, PVC, acrylics and silicones.

Storage and shelf life:

1. HENGDA-M5133 is supplied in 25 kg,190 kg drums and 950kg IBC containers.
2. The containers must remain tightly sealed during storage and kept in a cool, well aired place. The product should be protected against humidity.
3.In the unopened container HENGDA-M5133 has a shelf life of min.12 months from delivery.
