Green Tea Extract Introduction

Green tea extract is the active ingredient extracted from green tea leaves, mainly including tea polyphenols (catechins), caffeine, aromatic oils, moisture, minerals, pigments, carbohydrates, proteins, amino acids, vitamins, etc. The main active components of green tea extract are tea polyphenols, mainly including catechins, which are a kind of polyphenols mainly present in tea leaves, accounting for 8%-20% of tea leaves. It is an important chemical with health care effects in tea. Tea polyphenols have antioxidant and free radical scavenging effects, significantly reduce serum total cholesterol, triglyceride, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels in hyperlipidemia, and at the same time have the effect of restoring and protecting vascular endothelial function.
