IRON DEXTRAN INJECTION 10% COMPOSITION: Contains per ml.: Iron dextran..........................................100 mg VB12....................................................100mcg Solvents ad. ..............................................1 ml. INDICATIONS: EZEDEXTRAN is used for prevention and treatment of by iron deficiency caused anaemia and cyanocobalamin deficiency caused anaemia including neonatal anemia in calves, lamb,dogs, pigs, foals, and enhances immunity. 1. It increases the baby animals survival rate and enhances the ability of fighting against disease and relieves stress, prevent White Muscle Disease. 2. It treats the postpartum anemia, operation anemia, parasite anemia and nutrition. 3. It has good effect on preventing and curing iron-deficiency anemia in baby animals, then promoting its growth. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: By deep intramuscular injection or subcutaneous injection on vastus medialis. Colts,calves or lambs: 1.5~ 3ml in the first week after birth. Piglet: l~ 2ml intramuscular,3 days after birth.; For other livestock or animals,if increased or deceased the dosage, please take into consideration of the circumstances. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Administration to animals with vitamin E-deficiency. Administration to animals with diarrhoea. Administration in combination with tetracyclines, because of the interaction of iron with tetracyclines. WITHDRAWAL TIMES: None. STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place,and protect from direct sunlight.
