Oligomeric isomaltose is made from starch by the action of special enzymes, including isomaltose, isomaltotriose, pannose, and each branched-chain oligosaccharide of isomaltotetrasaccharide and above.Mechanism of action: Oligomeric isomaltose can neither be hydrolyzed nor digested and absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract because it contains а1.6 glycosidic bond, but directly reaches the large intestine and is used by the beneficial bacteria there, thus promoting the reproduction of beneficial bacteria in the human intestine.Oligomeric isomaltose products do not contain monosaccharides or have very low monosaccharide content, and its caloric energy is only 1/6 of sucrose. oligomeric isomaltose is difficult to be decomposed and absorbed through digestive enzymes, and oligomeric isomaltose is not absorbed and utilized in the stomach, and all of it enters the intestine.
