Description
Hydrogeological Logging System Water Well Logging Tool Geophysical Well Logs Subsurface Electrical Well Logging Borehole Geophysical Logs

It is a comprehensive tool used for evaluating and analyzing water wells. It provides valuable insights into subsurface hydrological conditions, aquifer characteristics, and groundwater resources. This system combines various techniques and sensors to collect data on geophysical properties, water quality, and well integrity, helping professionals make informed decisions regarding groundwater management and well drilling projects.

Usually geophysical logs include caliper, gamma, single-point resistance, spontaneous potential, normal resistivity, electromagnetic induction, fluid resistivity, temperature, flowmeter, and acoustic.

Ordinary resistivity logging is to put an ordinary electrode system (composed of three electrodes) into the well, and measure the curve of the rock resistivity change in the well. When measuring the formation resistivity, it is affected by factors such as well diameter, mud resistivity, upper and lower surrounding rocks and electrode distance. The measured parameters are not equal to the true resistivity of the formation, but are called the apparent resistivity of the formation. Therefore, ordinary resistivity logging is also called apparent resistivity logging.
