What is Carbasalate calcium?
Carbasalate calcium is a white crystalline powder with a slightly bitter taste and is highly soluble in water. It is a complex of calcium acetylsalicylate and urea. Its metabolic characteristics and pharmacological effects are the same as those of aspirin. It has antipyretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and platelet aggregation effects, and prevents thrombosis caused by various causes. Oral absorption is rapid, rapid onset, high bioavailability, metabolism by the liver, and excretion of the kidneys. Its antipyretic and analgesic effect is stronger, the adverse reactions are small, and there is almost no stimulation to the gastrointestinal mucosa.
