INDICATIONS
Electrolyte supplementation. For the treatment of hypokalemia, cardiac arrhythmias caused by low potassium and digitalis toxicity, viral hepatitis, cirrhosis and hepatic encephalopathy.
Adverse reactions
Nausea, vomiting, vascular pain, flushing, and decreased blood pressure may occur when the titration is too fast. Very rarely, heart rate may be slowed down, which can be recovered after slowing down the drip rate or stopping the drug.
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry & dark place.
Keep all medicines out of childen.
